Our God is such a God of reconciliation!

My brother unexpectedly passed away a few years ago now. He left behind a wife and very young daughter at the time. Unfortunately I didn’t necessarily have the closest relationship with him and his wife.

When my brother suddenly passed away I really didn’t have any idea what the relationship would look like with my sister in law and niece. It was sort of like starting from scratch relationally with them since interactions were very often through my brother.

My family and I prayed for a reconciliation to occur in the relationship and we believed God would do it. Long story short, God has since started opening doors for me to interact with my sister in law and niece and build that relationship (one way has been watching my niece play soccer 😊).

It has been really awesome to see God at work in our lives and I’m so thankful. I’m looking forward to being apart of my niece’s life as she grows in whatever capacity that ends up being.
