Looking back it was such a God ordained blessing for me to get the job with the company I’m currently with.

While I was in my last job I wasn’t necessarily proactively looking for a new job but I had been praying about things because I didn’t enjoy the job I was in. It was a startup company that helped me change careers to software engineering but was stressful and challenging.

I had been in this job for about a year and things weren’t looking good for the company as a whole so I knew I potentially would need to find a job which is often stressful and difficult in its own right.

It was during this time that a recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn about a job. I wasn’t necessarily interested about this job at first but the more I discussed it with the recruiter the more it lined up with my career goals and the technologies I wanted to work with. I also learned it was going to pay me quite a bit more than the current role I was in.

During a few phone calls I soon found out that the recruiter actually went to the same Christian high school as I did which might not be surprising except for the fact that my high school was really small. All I could think was this was a God ordained connection.

Long story short, I ended up taking the job and have enjoyed my time ever since. This is a testimony of God answering prayer and seeing my current situation and blessing me with a job that ended up finding me. God truly works all things for good! 🙌🏼 I’m so thankful!
