First of all Happy Easter! I’m so thankful for the finished work of Jesus!

This morning I went to the grocery store around 7am to pick up a few things and saw a homeless man sitting by the entrance of the door. Before I had time to overthink it (which I often do 😄) I was getting my wallet out to bless him. I felt God lead me to ask if it was okay if I prayed with him. The guy immediately said yes and I asked his name and he said John. I did a short prayer for John to speak truth and hope over his life.

I went into the store to do my quick shopping and while I was in there I felt like God wanted me to grab John a sandwich and a water, so I did. On the way out I walked back up to him and he was saying hi to someone with such a big smile on his face. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a homeless man with such a smile. I’m not sure if he’s normally like that or if it was a result of praying for him but it was awesome to see regardless!

Let’s pray that other believers in Jesus would continue to love on him until he has so much hope that his life is forever transformed both spiritually and physically.
